Making a panoramic picture

Panoramic picture (must press next link to see it well)

Making a panoramic, sometimes, is the only way to take a photo of an extensive landscape, without losing anything important, grouping most of this landscape, in an unique photography. Summarizing a bit the definition: panoramic is a photography of a panorama, in other words, the  landscape where we are, for example: a city, mountains, the field...
But it must be done correctly following a procedure that  begins in the own landscape, and finishing in our computer.
I`m going to explain, basically, how to do it.

The original images must be taken following a technique, that thought simple, it is very important for the final result.
  -  You must superpose every photography approximately 1/3 one of other in order to give to postprocesing program enough margin to correct some imperfections. Some cameras have a program like a insole in order to make it easier and precise.

 - Try to use the same exposition, focal distance, etc. To avoid differences between shots. So do not do it in Auto mode, to assure that the camera does not change it itself.

 - Do not change your position and support the camera well balanced. To do it better you can use a tripod.

Now is time for post-procesing: here I am going to explain it with the tool Photomerge, joined on Photoshop. Photomerge fuses the original images automatically, so it is very easy to use and surprisingly effective!!
 Let`s do it:

- Open Photoshop, click on File -> Automate -> Photomerge.

Then should be opened a window divided in 2 sections:
One where we can choose the aspect that we want for the final image, to choosing between: Automatic, Perspective, Cylindrical, Only to change position, and, Interactive composition. (you can try after with different to  select the better for your panoramic shot)
And another section where already we select the images which we want to fuse.

 - Select the images, click on Ok and Photoshop will fuse automatically the original images on a panoramic.
